James F. Martin, Ed. D.,

James Martin, Ed.D., cofounded Martin-McAllister Consulting Psychologists, Inc. in 1973.  Jim has diverse interests and the background and experience to prove it.  He is a proud veteran of the United States Army and the Marine Corps.  He has degrees in psychology, educational psychology, divinity, and communications and small group skills.  He has always been very active in community outreach activities.  During his time with the company, Jim infused Martin-McAllister with a drive for excellence and an appreciation of good humor. 

Loring McAllister, Ph.D.

Loring McAllister, Ph.D., was a cofounder of Martin-McAllister Consulting Psychologists.  Prior to that time, he served in the Navy and worked in both academic and clinical settings.  He was also a deacon in the Episcopal Church.  He took great pride in hosting numerous foreign exchange students and foster children.  Loring played a large part in establishing Martin-McAllister’s robust practice in public safety evaluations.  Loring passed away in November of 2019. 

Judith Pendergrass, Ph.D.

Judith Pendergrass, Ph.D., joined Martin-McAllister in 1989 and purchased the company from Jim Martin in 1999.  Prior to that, she was a college-level instructor, a Dean and Director of Admissions at Metropolitan State University, and Director of a national professional testing program for the American College Testing Program (ACT).  She took great pride in growing the business and in the coaching work that she did with executives all around the world.  She was a determined and dedicated leader.  Judy passed away in December of 2020.
